Obituary of Trudy Kay Wright

Trudy Kay Wright, age 73, of Lamar passed away Thursday January 4th at her home.  She was born in Sheldon, MO, to Robert Frances and Thelma Louise Ambler Locke. She attended Lamar Schools until her senior year and graduated from Nevada High School with the class of 1963. Trudy attended Draughn Business College.  She owned and operated a convenience store for several years. In recent years she was a teller at the UMB Bank in Carthage. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching true crime murder shows. She loved eating icecream every night.  Many friends and family knew her as "Sissy".  Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Wright and the father of her children Leaford Greene.  She is survived by two sons Russell Harmon and wife Anna and Shannon Greene and wife Shannon of Carthage, MO and   one daughter Julie Collings and husband Mark of Grove, OK, 11 grand children, Brandon and Bailee Harmon, Ashley Hunsaker and husband Rusty, Brett Spain and wife Heather, Skyler, Koltin, Kyle, Grace, and Karsen Greene, Brandon Jones and Sheldon Collings; 8 great grandchildren, one born on January 3rd, 2018, one sister Terri and husband Tim of Iantha and 3 nephews Teague, Trent and Trey Braker, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece.
