Darrel Throckmorton

Darrel Ralph Throckmorton, 74, Lamar, passed away May 27, 2013, at Truman Healthcare and Rehab Center. Darrel was born April 7, 1939, to Ralph B. and Louella Blanche (Pugh) Throckmorton in Nashville, MO. After graduating high school, Darrel attended college before taking up his passion for farming. He was a respected, life-long resident of Barton County, MO. Darrel also served in the National Guard and was a member of the Metro Club. He was a member of the Iantha Methodist Church. Darrel is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela; a daughter, Diana Throckmorton; and his parents; step granddaughter, Jessica Patrick. He is survived by daughter, Pamela and Doug Sprouls; grandchildren, Joshua and Morgan Sprouls, Elizabeth and Jason Banwart and Rebekah and Scott Borghardt; great grandchildren, Shelby, Tyler, Isaac, Chloe, Alan, Kerri, Carson, Gracie, Josie and Conley; step daughters Darbi and Bruce Stancell and Denie and Barry Patrick; step grandchildren Trenton, Kord, Darien, Kris, a host of extended family and friends. He will be missed by all those he knew and touched.
