George Young

George Allen's bright sunlight entered this world on July 16, 1938 and went home to our Lord on May 14, 2014. He attended and graduated from Liberal High School in 1956. George was a loyal, kind, humble and gentle Rennaisance man, who was a painter, musician, carpenter, gardener, computer game player. He loved to volunteer with different charity organizations and with his church. At church, he was known as the "Popcornman" since he loved to sell popcorn and pickles as a fundraiser for the RCIA class. His presence was felt in the church community and will be greatly missed. He is pre-deceased by his son, Charles Eugene Young, his father, George Albert Young, and his sister, Francis Elaine Lawson and niece Cynthia Kay Peters. He is survived by his wife, Angelina Gutierrez Cantu Young, his mother, Vivian Adaline Young, his sister, Kathryn Kay Stevenson; previous spouses, Daisy, Linda and Claudia; his children, whom he loved very much and thought and prayed about them every day of his life. Robert, Loretta, John, Christina, James, Joseph, Michael, Bryon, Timothy and his stepdaughter, Vanessa. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Officiated by Reverend Bob Dickey, gravesite services and burial are to be at Worsley Cemetery in Bronaugh, Missouri on July 8, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Burial services being provided by Konantz Warden Funeral Home. Due to unforeseen complications in Texas concerning his burial transport, the family was fortunate to have been able to have had the personal care and compassionate assistance of Mr. CK Warden. Our family is deeply thankful and so grateful that Mr. Warden was able to ensure that George was able to be buried in Missouri as he wished.
