Hollis was an ordained minister in the Free Will Baptist Church serving churches in South west Missouri including Eldorado Springs, Carterville and Oskaloosa. Margaret kept house for their family of five children, all of whom attended from Liberal High School, and now reside within a 50 mile radius of Lamar, MO. Their children are Dorothy Rose Walker, Shirley Walker Webb, Corkie Walker Abts, Janet Walker Yount, and Hollis Duane Walker. Hollis and Margaret were proud of their 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. One granddaughter, Schelli Dawn Abts, died on December 14, 2003.
