Holly Sue Jay

Holly Sue Jay of rural Dade County, MO passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2023. She was born on December 7, 1973, in Harvey, IL to Linda (Atherton) and Larry Robbins. Holly attended Romeoville High School. She married Frankie Jay on June 17,1994, in Forsyth, MO. They lived in Spokane, MO for a couple of years before moving to Rockaway Beach, MO where they remained until they moved to the family farm in rural Dade County in 2018.

Holly loved to sing and dance. She was a good cook and would always be found cooking for any holiday. She was a great wife and mother who dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. She loved fishing and going out on the water in her kayak. Casey Hole held a special place in her heart because of all of the wonderful family memories they made there during family trips, summers, and holidays spent there with her family, extended family and friends. She surrounded herself with her family and her door was always open to any of them.

She is survived by her husband Frankie Jay; children Amber Jay (Alex Diem) of Lamar, MO, Jessy Jay of Branson, MO, and Scott Jay of Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Serenity, Jaxon, Jase, Daniel, Wyatt, and Gracie; her father-in-law Donald Jay of rural Dade County; and her lifelong friend Maura Small Lewandowski. Holly is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Cheryl Robbins.

The family would appreciate memorial contributions be made in care of the funeral home to assist with final expenses.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday July 2, 2023 at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
