Howard Leroy Butler

Howard Leroy Butler passed away on October 28, 2021. Howard was born June 30, 1934 in Moundville, MO to Wendel and Hazel (Couch) Butler. He was married to Earlene Swope in 1955 in Nevada, MO. Howard was a former Master of the Masonic Lodge 303 AM & FM and supported the Shriners, St Judes and other children's charities. He was a teacher who worked for the State Hospital and School and for Heartland and he was passionate about golf. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Terri (Dick) Meyers; grandsons, Jason and Justin; great grandson, Korbyn; and great granddaughter, Zoe. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Rose Marie Willis. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
