Kathy Ann Blanchard

Kathy Blanchard was born on August 27, 1958 in Lamar, MO to Irvin and Betty (Owen) Blanchard. She passed away May 18, 2021. Kathy graduated from Lamar High School in 1977. She worked in the cafeteria of Barton County Memorial Hospital from her senior year until she retired in August of 2020. Kathy was a quiet person. She enjoyed doing needle point, embroidery and made baby quilts. She also enjoyed paint by numbers, especially Tigers. Kathy is survived by her brother, Stan Blanchard and wife Shelia of Sheldon, MO, a niece, Anita Orahood and a nephew Chris Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kristy Blanchard. Memorial donations, in leiu of flowers, may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home. Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday May 24, 2021 at Saint James Cemetery.
