Lisa Ann (McAfee) Fast, age 67, of Liberal, MO, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Lisa was born in Denver, CO, and grew up in Lakewood, CO, where she was lovingly raised by her parents, Linda (Homberger) and Ralph McAfee. In 1972, she moved to Liberal, MO, where she would later graduate with the Liberal High School Class of 1975.
Lisa married Larry Fast on March 23, 1974. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised their family in Liberal, MO. Over the years, Lisa worked in various roles, including as an accounts payable clerk for National Pizza, a bookkeeper at Northpark Mall, a dedicated employee at City National Bank, and a saleswoman at Ramsay’s department store. She also operated several vending routes at Northpark Mall for over 27 years.
Lisa attended Oakton Church for many years the later attended Iantha Baptist Church. She will be missed by both of her church families. She enjoyed cross-stitching, scrapbooking, and so many other craft projects, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She especially cherished the time she spent caring for her granddaughters.
Lisa is survived by her loyal and loving husband, Larry; her mother, Linda McAfee of Desoto, TX; her daughters, Naomi Fast and husband, Ken Frazier, of Phoenix, AZ, and Charity Hazen and husband, Mark, of Brentwood, TN. Lisa also treasured a relationship with her bonus daughter Kristina Moore and her family. In addition, she leaves behind her precious grandchildren: Madyson Wood, Dawson Hazen, Sydni Holcomb, Marli Holcomb, Kyndal Hazen, and Jonathan Hazen; as well as her brothers, Gary (Kerin) McAfee of Arlington, TX, and Michael (Erin) McAfee of Bend, OR.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph (Bill) McAfee, her first mother, Lois Gunson McAfee, and her parents-in-love, Elmer and Arlene Fast.
Lisa will be remembered for her dedication to her family, generosity of spirit, and gift of hospitality. Her unwavering faith resulted in a joy and love that flowed from her. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday September 28, 2024 at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
