Lois Jean Stacy passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021. She was born on March 27, 1953 in Coffeyville, KS to Dewayne “Dewey” and June (Owens) Burr. She lived there for about 8 years before moving to Lamar, MO. Lois was known for having a big heart and caring for people. She worked in local nursing homes in the area and then went to work as a cook at the Blue Top for about 15 years. She lived for Chief's football, enjoyed wrestling and Nascar racing, especially #3, Dale Earnhardt Sr. Lois enjoyed going to church at Cornerstone Baptist Church and was always ready for a BBQ. Her biggest love, that brought her the most joy, was her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Tonya (Carey) Dickerson of Sparta, MO, Steven (Michelle) Mitts of Galena, KS, Tim Mitts of Lamar, MO, and Theodore Stacy of Farmington, MO. She is also survived by a brother, Charles (Pat) Burr of Lamar, MO and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Ivan and Butch Burr. Konantz Warden Funeral Home will be open for visitors to pay their respects from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday February 21, 2021. There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family.
