Priscilla Ann Crockett, 79, of Lamar, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024. She was born in Moline, KS, to Clarence “Bob” and Mildred “Windy” (Tyler) Morrow. Priscilla spent her early years in Ft Scott, KS, later moving to Liberal, MO, before finally settling in Lamar, MO, where she lived the majority of her life.
On December 28, 1977, Priscilla married Darrel Crockett, and together they built a life filled with love, happiness, and cherished memories. Priscilla's love for her husband, children, and grandchildren was profound, and she was loved deeply in return.
An avid gardener, Priscilla took great joy in cultivating beautiful flowers, which she admired from the comfort of her sunroom, surrounded by the birds and hummingbirds she adored. She was a woman of faith who enjoyed reading and discussing scripture. Priscilla had a special affinity for animals, particularly her white cats and farm animals. She enjoyed watching her "chicken jons". A talented cook, Priscilla's kitchen was a gathering place for family and friends. She also enjoyed collecting "dust collectors," including her beloved Precious Moments figurines and unicorns.
Priscilla is survived by her loving husband Darrel; her children Quentin Rose of Lamar, MO, Sonia Baker of Topeka, KS, Stephen Rose of Lamar, MO, Devin (Danielle) Crockett of Lamar, MO, Andrew Crockett of Lamar, MO, and Amanda Crockett of Lamar, MO; her grandchildren Jacob, Nate, Alex, and Kadence; and her sister Betty Judy of Lamar, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Windy Morrow, and her sisters Faye Pottorff and Barbara Crane.
Priscilla's warmth, love, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
