Ruth Ann Burnett

Ruth Ann “Ruby” Burnett, age 70, of Greenfield, MO, passed away Saturday June 18, at Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, MO. Ruby was born in Pollock, MO January 28, 1946 to Virgil L. Lorence and Lulu "Madge" Pigg. Ruby was baptized at the age of 12 at Church of Christ. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Home Health Aid. She married Dale Lee Burnett May 27,1975 in Greenfield, MO they made their home in Lockwood, MO moving to Greenfield, MO in recent years. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, any outdoor activities, she liked doing craft projects of all kinds, was an expert at crocheting and sewing, she was very talented and would design and make clothes without a pattern. She was an avid auction attendee, she would usually buy items then give them away to family and friends. Ruby leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Dale Burnett also surviving are her children, Andrea Scott, James, Shawn, James, Tania and Tara Burnett, Fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children Tracy, Terry, Daphne and Dale Lee Jr., her parents and a sister Sara.
