Skie Lynn Richard

On March 31, 2023 Skie Lynn Richard "Rogers" passed away at the very young age of 15. She was born on March 24, 2008, in Ft Scott, KS to Margaret Richard and Nigel Rogers. She had lived in Liberal, MO with her father Nigel Rogers and bonus mom Cassie Rice.

Skie had a passion for art and music. She was smart and played the clarinet and the flute. She was an active participant in Liberal High School’s Scholar Bowl, Band and Choir. She was responsible, helpful, and wonderful to be around. Her smile would light up the darkest room. Skie was a great sister to Autumn Warren-Rice, Aidyn Rogers, Lillieth Richard, Thomas Savage, Michael Rice, Aesun Rogers, Aine Rogers, Lliam West, Alma Richard and Alasdair Rogers.

She is survived by and will be missed by her parents and siblings. She is also survived by her grandpa Frank Richard; grandpa Doug Rogers; grandma Katherine Koch; uncles Chad and Lowell Rogers; aunt Lorna Rogers and by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to be made to cover final expenses. Donations can be made to the family or directly to the funeral home.

The family will receive visitors at Konantz Warden Funeral Home on Thursday April 6, 2023 from 6 PM to 8 PM. A graveside service will be held at Liberal City Cemetery on Friday April 7, 2023, at 2 PM.
