William C. "Bill" Moyer, 84, of Golden City, MO, passed away December 17, 2013. He was born September 18, 1929, in Eustis, FL, to Heber Tilton and Florence Wastell Moyer. Bill was raised in Lamar on the family dairy farm. He attended college and went to work in Kansas City as one of the original Ramp Clerks for the US Postal service at both the downtown Kansas City and Kansas City International Airports. Bill enjoyed bowling and coaching softball. He was a traffic director for the Kansas City Chiefs, served in the National Guard at Camp Clark, and was a fifty year member of the Masonic Lodge. Bill loved his Lord and was a Christian. Bill is survived by his son, David W. Moyer, Lawson, MO; daughters, Tammie Davis, Pearland, TX, Sharri Payne and husband, Clarence, Kansas City, MO, Sandra Teel, Golden City, MO; thirteen grandchildren, Dawn, Lauren, Erica, Greg, Hannah, Will, James, Katie, Hollie, Chris, Jeff, Nicole and Kalea; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Jane and husband Dr. Donald E. Wilson, Prairie Village, KS; niece, Leigh Anne and husband Bill Neal, Fairway, KS. He was preceded by his parents and step-father, Scott Hamilton.
