Obituary of Dale Felty

Dale Scott Felty, 89, formerly of Liberal, Mo., passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home, Mt. Vernon, Mo. Dale was born May 28, 1922, to Floyd and Pearl (Bray) Felty in Barton County, Mo. He was in the Army and served during WWII and the Korean War. Dale was a lifelong resident of Liberal, Mo. where he enjoyed farming. He married Flora Ganer in 1969. She preceded him in death in June of 2006. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Carole Ganer, Uniontown, Ks.; a grandson, Larry Bryan Ganer and wife Jennifer, Liberal, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Thieman, Ashley, Sean and Piper Ganer, Liberal, Mo.; a sister, Hazel Flannigan, Spring Hill, TN.; two nieces, Saundra Vitosky, Spring Hill, TN. and Candie Hackler, Lamar, Mo.; and a nephew, Paul Flannigan, Mesquite, TX. Dale was preceded in death by his wife Flora, and a son, Larry Ganer.
