Obituary of Bobby Allen

Bobby Joe Allen Bobby Joe Allen, 55, Jerico Springs, MO, passed away suddenly, April 11, 2013. Bobby Joe was born June 10, 1957 in Joplin, MO, the youngest of eight children. He was adopted and raised by his loving parents, Joseph and Lavon Onstott Allen. B. J. was a maintenance worker for Sun Container in Lamar, MO. He attended college, taking courses in the criminal justice program. B. J. was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Lamar, MO, a member of the Shriners and Eastern Star. He was a Christian and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and time spent with his family and friends. B. J. was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Timothy Ryan Allen and Joshua Colby Allen both of Carthage, MO; Three brothers, Earl Henson and wife, Marsha, of Carl Junction, MO, Richard James and wife, Sarah, of Joplin, MO, Ben Allen and wife, Susie, of Indianapolis, IN; four sisters, Wanda Thompson and husband, Benny, of Troy, MO, Brenda Sewell and husband, Larry, of Joplin, MO, Jama Stone and husband, Danny, of Kiowa, OK, Jane Griffitt and husband, Bobby, of Lockwood, MO; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was loved and will be missed by many.
