Waunita "June" Clements, 83, Lamar, MO, was called to her heavenly home March 18, 2014; her family by her side. She was born September 13, 1930, to Manford and Amanda (Green) Burkhart, in Lamar, MO. June married Joyce Clements, August 27, 1949, in Bentonville, AR. They were blessed with two daughters, raising them in a loving Christian home. June took great delight with her family and friends. She loved to sew, was a member of the Vita Vota Extension Club and a long-time member of the Lamar First Christian Church. June is survived by her husband, Joyce, of the home; daughters, Janet and husband, Bud Maupin, Lamar, MO, Jill and husband, Gary Fast, Lamar, MO; four grandchildren, Stacy Maguire and husband Trevor, of Charlotte, NC, Julie Whyman and husband, Dan, of Lamar, MO, Kyle Fast of San Francisco, CA, Samantha "Sammy" Fast, Joplin, MO; four great-grandchildren, Lauren, Matt and Miles Whyman of Lamar, MO and Jayden Maguire of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded by her parents; two sisters, Trula Mae Storm and Leo Storm; and four nephews. June will be missed by all who knew her.
