Ronald Lee Divine, 75, of Lamar, MO, passed away March 26, 2014. He was born July 6, 1938, in Lamar, MO, to Audrey Cornelius "Cooney" and Opal Pauline (Hagins) Divine. Ron was a graduate of Lamar High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Ron worked as a salesman in the Insurance industry; he also worked for Thorco, was a machinist at Welco, an aircraft factory in Kansas, sold books and worked for printing companies. He loved his family, serving as a scout leader for his boys and coaching T-Ball. Ron married Denzil McCaslin, March 7, 1965. He attended Lamar First Baptist Church and was a member of the Lamar First Christian Church. Daily devotions, Bible study, listening to recordings and programs and "Living One Day At A Time", were very important to Ron. He was a faithful follower of "Kentucky Road" Quartet. Ron is survived by his wife, Denzil, of the home; three sons, Matthew Scott Divine (Lori) of Joplin, MO, Kevin Wayne Divine (Elizabeth) of Waxhaw, N.C. and Anthony C. Divine (Kathy) of Early, TX; grandchildren, Zack, Brandon, Kaitlynn, Amelia, Lexie and Jenna; step-grandson, Joey Muninger; step-granddaughter Amanda Magana (Rob); step-great granddaughter, Adilyn Jace Magana; brother Gary Wayne Divine (Cheryl), Windsor, MO; and his faithful dog, Toby. He was preceded by his parents.
