Aaron Hebert, Sr., 63, of Lamar, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgan City, LA on Jan 16, 1952. Mr. Hebert came to Lamar from Louisiana about 17 years ago and was employed first by Stanley's and then he went to work at Thorco Industries where he worked for the last 15 years. Mr. Hebert enjoyed fishing, cooking his beloved Cajun food for his friends and family. He enjoyed sharing stories of his past and kept his Cajun upbringing and enjoyed telling jokes. He also enjoyed playing the lottery and scratch off tickets. Proceeding him in death was his parents and his brother Sonny. He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Daigle, Teda Scully, Brenda Wiggins, Margaret "Peachy" Adams. His companion, Sandy Harris of 13 years, His children Darin and wife Kristal Hebert, son Aaron Hebert, Jr, Grandchildren, Tre', Trevor and one Great Grandson, Kai. The family will receive friends at the Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, MO from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Wednesday October 22, 2014. An additional memorial service will be held at a later time in Morgan City, LA.
