Obituary of Joe Miller

Joe Louis (Lou) Miller, 84, Lamar, owner of Miller's Country Corner, passed away at Barton County Hospital on Sunday, November 16. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Miller and wife Laverna of Milwaukee, WI, Joe Miller, Jr. and wife Rickey of Howell, NJ, daughters Jeani Foster of Milwaukee, WI, Andrea Igl and husband Rick of Grants Pass, OR, grandsons Rohan Miller, Gabriel Foster and David Igl, brother Neil Miller and wife Adelle of Lovettsville, VA, and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah A. and Lydia C. Miller, his wife Miriam, and thirteen brothers and sisters. Lou was deeply cherished by his dear friends, Ruth Carlson, the Milam and Whitehead families, and many friends, neighbors and customers. Mr. Miller was a preacher, math teacher, family counselor, real estate agent, and after moving to Lamar, enjoyed selling and servicing appliances. Lou's infectious sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those he loved, and who loved him. The family will receive friends, November 21, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
