Obituary of Linnie L. McNary

Linnie Lee McNary, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Kansas City, MO.  She was born September 4, 1924 in Irwin, MO, to E.F. McNary and Linnie (Cloud) McNary.  She was the youngest of nine children. Linnie was a graduate of Lamar High School, but moved away after graduation to live in California and Arizona to be near family. She was a caregiver to her nieces and nephews and was a big part of their life.  She was usually employed as a bookkeeper or secretary until she retired.   She was always reading books, so her family would send them to her, boxes at a time. In no time she was ready for more.  Linnie is survived by her niece; Pam Cicero and husband Jerry, nephews; Stewart Martin and wife Diane, Stephen Martin and wife Jeanne and Brian Cooper and wife Debbie and many great nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, sisters and a niece Andrea Perez. There will be a graveside service 11:00AM, Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon MO.
