Wanda L. Yokley, age 91, of Lamar, MO, passed away Thursday January 17, 2019 at the Medicalodges in Neosho, MO.  Wanda was born August 26, 1927, near Iantha, Missouri, to Joseph and Faye (Metcalf) Gilmartin. She was one of four children. After high school she attended Pittsburg State University and received her teaching certificate.  She taught at a rural school for several years.  Wanda later went to work for the Nelly-Don garment factory where she spent 17 years.  She also worked at Big Smith for a short time.  Then she went to Thorco, where she worked until her retirement. She was a long time member of the Bethany Baptist Church and more recently attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Wanda was married to Fred Yokley who passed away October 9, 1983. Wanda is survived by her three sons; Alvin Yokley and his wife Vicki of Nevada, MO, Dan Yokley and his wife Bev of Neosho, MO and Stephen Yokley of Joplin. Wanda had 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A sister, Wilma Pritchard of Torington, Wyoming, also survives her. She was preceded in death by, her parents, her husband, Fred, a brother, Joe Gilmartin and a sister, Wanita Roberts.

A Graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Howell Cemetery near Milford, Mo. There will be a visitation from 12:30 till 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar, MO.
