Obituary of Verona A. Troyer

Verona (Graber) Troyer, 93, of Lamar, MO, passed away, 12:50 PM, September, 24, 2019, at her residence. She was born in Berne, IN, on April 23, 1926, to David and Martha (Schwartz) Graber. On April 4, 1954 Verona married to John Troyer, who survives. Also surviving are four sons: David (Sylvia) Troyer, Somerset, OH, John (Mintie) Troyer, Frankfort, OH, Alvin Troyer, Ramona, CA, Chris (Elsie) Troyer, Lott, TX. Four daughters: Barbara (John) Miller, Grandview, TX, Mabel (Jerry) Miller, Rosebud, TX, Edna (Jonathan) Miller, Knob Noster, MO, Suzanne (Melvin) Yoder, Lamar MO.  She is also survived by one brother, Leroy Graber, Elkhart, IN, two sisters;  Anne Schrock, Leoma, TN, Susan (Sam) Horst, Clarkrange, TN. She has 41 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren, surviving.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Golden City Mennonite Church in  Newport, Missouri.  Alvin Yoder will officiate.  Jerald Troyer, Jason Troyer, Michael Troyer, Tristan Miller, Nicolas Yoder and Thomas Miller will serve as pall bearers.  Interment will be at the  Mennonite Cemetery, Newport, Missouri.
