Obituary of Julia Loretta Malone

Julia Loretta Malone, age 65, of Hepler, Kansas, passed away October 25, 2019, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. Julia was born March 18, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, to Ralph and Mabel Wiggans. She married Timothy Malone on December 16, 1988. She lived many years in Farlington, KS, before moving to Hepler, KS. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, watching Madea and playing cards with her loved ones. It did not matter what she had going on, if someone needed her, she was always right there to help. Julia is survived by 4 daughters; Tamara Lathrom of the home, Symantha Kene and husband David of McPherson, KS, Angel West of Redfield, KS, and Elizabeth Reily and husband Mike of St. Louis, MO; 2 sons; David Malone and wife Julie of Kansas City, MO, and John Malone and wife Kelly of Kansas City, MO; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 brothers; Lyle Wiggans and wife Jerre of Kansas City, MO, Tommy Wiggans of Ft. Scott, KS, and Donnie Wiggans of Nevada, MO, and 1 sister; Carolyn Arbogast of Pittsburg, KS, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband and a sister, Polly Watkins.

There will be a memorial service, 3:00 P.M., Saturday November 9th, at the Kneeland Center, located behind the  Liberal Light & Water Department at 209 A. South Main Street, in Liberal, MO.
