Obituary of Rose Marie Otter

Rose Marie Otter of Nevada, MO left this earth to join her parents on October 23, 2021. She was born, one of nine children, on September 20, 1960 in Colby, KS to Arthur and Cecelia (Moos) Otter. Rose graduated with the Nevada Class of 1979 and then achieved a degree in Criminal Justice from MSSU in 2000. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who loved her very much. They made many memories together baking cookies, doing crafts, playing card games, and hitting up yard sales on Saturday mornings. She enjoyed crocheting and made many baby blankets for friends and family. She also enjoyed reading mystery and crime novels, swimming, walking, and collecting Precious Moments items.
Rose is survived by her son David Beebe and wife Jayna of Sheldon, MO; daughter, Deanna Anderson and husband Scott of Nevada, MO; and grandchildren, Shyla, David, and Mayson Beebe and Zakori and Jayden Anthony. She is also survived by her siblings, Dolores Otter of Ft Scott, KS, Anne Horst of Amsterdam, MO, Mark Otter of Warrensburg, MO, and Quentin Otter of Nevada, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jerry Otter, Leon Otter, James Otter, infant brother Richard Otter; and nephew Christopher Otter.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the family or funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday October 26, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Konantz Warden Funeral Home. A service will be held 2 PM Wednesday October 27, 2021 at the Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
