Vickie Elaine Clark passed away on Monday December 19, 2022. She was born in Lamar, MO on July 30, 1959, to Fern (Mayes) and Harvey Brown. Vickie grew up in Lamar, MO and attended Lamar High School. She worked several places in her life including The Lamar Democrat and the radio station in Pittsburg, KS. She loved antiques and flea markets and along with her sister Verna, owned Treasure Corner, Duds and Things and The Old Country Shop. She was creative and artistic. She enjoyed crafting, decorating, and flower arranging. More recently she cleaned houses and worked at the Lamar Laundry Mat. In her free time, she enjoyed her scratchers and going to the Casino. She loved her grand dog, Jessie. Vickie’s smile would brighten anyone’s day. She was everyone’s mom and was the kindest, lovable woman.
Vickie is survived by her son Bryce Frickenschmidt (Tiffany Cunningham) and 3 step grandchildren of Lamar, MO; brother Wayne Seaton of Lamar, MO; sisters Verna Pennell (Robert) of Lamar, MO, and Veronica Tucker (David) of Hixson, TN; and by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Heather Merrie Brown; and brother Dean Brown.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
A visitation and time of sharing memories will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday December 26, 2022, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home
