Obituary of Joan Iola Willis

Joan Iola Craven Willis, 84, passed away on January 27, 2023. Joan was born in Sacramento, CA on June 27, 1938. Joan worked most of her life for the state of California in the Unemployment Division. She was the first in her family to receive a college degree when she went back to school in her late 50's. She always maintained good health until shortly before her death. She loved her work in genealogy, not only working on her own family tree, but those of her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Virgil Willis. She is survived by her son Wesley of Lamar, MO and daughter Cindy Couch of El Dorado Springs, MO. No services planned at this time.
