Elnora P. Fast passed away on February 2, 2023. She was born in Fuller, MO on September 6, 1934 to Edna (McAfee) and Chester Hudson. She grew up in the Barton County area and went to Liberal School. She married Thayne Fast on December 15, 1951, in Lamar, MO and together they raised three children in a loving Christian home. She was an excellent cook and would can anything. She was a talented artist. She drew, colored, painted, and enjoyed sewing. Elnora was a talented seamstress who made her family’s clothes and sewed for other people. She managed the fabric department at the Lamar Walmart for about five years when Walmart first opened. She and Thayne owned and operated T & E Enterprises in Liberal, MO for many years until they retired. Of all the hats she wore, she was most proud of being a Pastor’s wife and homemaker. She was a proud wife and grandmother who was involved in her family’s lives and loved to see them and hear about what they were doing. She is survived by Ricky Paul Fast and wife, Doris, of Liberal, MO; daughter, Thaylia Sue Wheeler, of North Richland Hills, TX; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Beem and husband, Darin , Nicki Ann Walker and husband, Jared, Ricky Paul Fast II and wife, Andrea, Austin Wheeler, Andrea and husband Brian Martin, Corey Wheeler, and Chelsea Wheeler; five great granddaughters, Cassidy and husband Tyrus, and Coti and husband Dylan, Baylee, Blair, Presley, and Ulysses; two step great grandsons, Vance and Blaine. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and son Burl Fast. If you would like to make a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers, the family suggests The Gideon Bible Society in care of the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 2 PM to 3 PM and a funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday February 5, 2023, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
