Richard Alden Hartsuiker passed away peacefully April 18, 2023 at Webb City Health and Rehab in Webb City, Missouri.
Richard was born June 28, 1942 to Klaas Hartsuiker and Betty Jo (McCoy) Hartsuiker in Downey, California.
Richard was a mechanic at heart. He served in the US Army from December 1967 until October 1972. He then served 17 years in the Army National Guard. He was proud of his service.
Richard married Marion Elaine Miller March 20, 1994. She was the love of his life.
Richard is survived by one son, James Toms of Keno, Oregon, seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, one sister, Sherry Fortner, of Milford, Missouri, one brother-in-law, Sterling Martin of Lamar, Missouri, and multiple nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by wife, Marion, parents, his twin sister, Mildred, Nell Martin and an infant brother.
Graveside services will be held at the Martin Family Cemetery, Milford Missouri, May 6, 2023 at 1 PM.
