Patsy Lou Thomas went to be with Jesus her Savior on May 5, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born in Liberal, Missouri, on November 6, 1942, to Charles and Alice Overstreet. Pat graduated from Liberal High School and attended business classes at Draughon Business College in Springfield. She enjoyed working as a PBX operator in Lamar, where she was introduced to Roy Thomas by four older coworkers. They married on July 8, 1962, in Liberal. Pat was preceded in death by her parents. Pat loved her church family at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. She enjoyed spending time with family, attending her grandchildren’s activities, raising all kinds of flowers, shopping with friends, sending encouraging cards, and giving thoughtful gifts. Pat stayed in touch with childhood friends and made new friends throughout her life. She was a lovely person inside and out. Her love, laughter, and encouragement will be greatly missed. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13th at the Carthage Nazarene Church, 2000 Grand Avenue, Carthage, Missouri.
