Obituary of John Frank White

John Frank White passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2022. He was born March 12, 1939, in Lockwood, MO to Cordis and Lucille (Voorhees) White. John joined the US Army in Ft Riley, KS and served his term mostly in Ft Hood, TX. He married Darlene Evans on July 24, 1964, in Lamar, MO. He was a truck driver in the military and spent most of his life employed as a driver for local companies.
He is survived by his son, Mark (Laura) White of Gladstone, MO; daughters, Lisa Sprowels of the home in Lamar, MO and Tammy (Thomas) Mora of Independence, MO; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family suggests donations be sent to the funeral home, in lieu of flowers, to help with funeral expenses.
The funeral home will open at 1:00 PM Sunday February 13, 2022 and remain open through visitation for anyone who would like to sign the book early. The family will receive visitors on Sunday February 13, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday February 14, 2022, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
